Fantastic February Fishing! Had 2 incredible trips today catching
some nice redfish and a limit of black sea bass. The temperature
hit the mid 70's and had the fish chewing big time!

Another OFF THE HOOK day of fishing today! 3 days in a row

of good weather, I can't believe it! The seas were flat calm again

and I took a local client  out to a reef for some non stop action

catching big black sea bass and a big bull redfish. On the way in

we hit the flats and caught a few more stud redfish on light tackle.

What a stellar day of fishing and some great weather as well!

Took the New Egret Moccasin offshore today to try some wrecks

with one of my good friends Captain Jason Dubose and we had

a blast catching some big bull redfish and a bunch of sea bass!

Got to try my new Minn Kota Riptide trolling motor today and

all I have to say is it is going to change my life and whole 

approach to catching fish for many years to come!

What a OFF THE HOOK day of  fishing here in Hilton Head!

Today was my clients first time fishing for redfish here in South 

Carolina and he got to see and catch em' as good as it gets!

We had several double headers all on light tackle spinning gear

and even got a few nice fish to take the fly as well. Winter fishing

can epic be for sure here in the low country especially when all the

right conditions like we had today come together. 

I am off to a great start this year with my new boat and I love

the way it has been preforming in the shallows chasing down

redfish like these!!

Had my first set of clients on my new boat today. The fish were
playing hard to get but we manage to get a nice one to finish the
trip and also got some great shots of a bald eagle in flight.

I have been waiting for a pretty day like this to get out on the water

run my brand new Egret Moccasin and I absolutely love it! I took the 

family with me and we scouted and scored some nice redfish on the fly! 

My daughter did a great job helping me reel in some of nice redfish 

on the fly rod. We saw hundreds of fish so that is great news for my

upcoming fishing clients that I have this month. I just hope the 

weather keeps warming up and the winds stay light!
