What a way to break in my Brand New Egret Moccasin catching 
some nice redfish on the fly with one of my best friends. We took turns
polling each other on the flats and casting to some huge schools of 
fish and caught some some studs. The coolest part about the day was
having a Great White Egret land on board and hang with us while
we were fishing. What a good omen a Egret on my Egret boat!

The ultimate inshore fishing boat is on it's way to Hilton Head Island!
I can't wait to get my hands on my brand new 2014 21ft. Egret Moccasin.
I will picking it up a few days from now from The Egret Factory in N.C. 
and really look forward to fishing this boat for the years to come here in

Hilton Head and feel that this will be the perfect boat for all the types
fishing we have to offer here in the Low Country. The Moccasin will
be able to fish the flats, cross choppy sounds or even run offshore 
when conditions allow. This boat is a major upgrade from my 2010 
Egret 18'9" which was a incredible boat and in my opinion is one of
 the best all around flats boats I have ever had. The great new features 
of the 210 Moccasin is that I can customize the boat to what styles of fishing 
and types of clients I have. For example during the hot summer months 
their is a removable T-Top to provide shade and comfort for my clients 
while bait fishing for cobia, tarpon, sharks etc..When fishing the flats for 
redfish the boat can be polled and will draft the same as my previous 
Egret flats boat in the 10-12inch range. One of the coolest upgrades
will be the Minn Kota  iPilot that will allow me to cover allot of water
fast or hold me still in one spot with the built in GPS in the motor!

Another beautiful January day here in Hilton Head! I went out
scouting for some new fishing spots and saw several new schools
of redfish on the flats and can't wait to get back out there and put
my clients on them with my BRAND NEW BOAT that is almost done
 at the Egret factory. The boat will be ready to fish by the first
of February so give me a call and let's go get em!

What a day of fishing with one of my best friends! We started the 
morning with one of the best sunrises I have seen in a long time!
We had perfect slick calm conditions and ended up going 15 miles 
offshore in my Egret flats boat and caught our limit of big black
sea bass and 4 big bull redfish a door mat flounder and one of the 
biggest toad fish I have ever seen. A great day from start to end!

Had a fun day fishing with the family! It was nice to get my wife 
and daughter out on the water for a little fun in the sun and was
so proud of my 6 year old daughter and could tell how proud she
was holding this big redfish pictured above!

Winter Fishing in Hilton Head can be absolutely OFF THE HOOK
when you have picture perfect slick calm conditions with no wind.
 You bet I will be out on days like this with or with out a client to
scout for new spots and have the river all to my self!
