What a morning of fishing with Jasper and his son Loren!

They caught close to 20 redfish and some super nice trout on the

ultra light tackle. They braved freezing cold and were rewarded 

with big bag of fillets and a great day to be thankful for!

Lots of wind and cold weather the last few days but that has
really helped get the little trout and redfish chewing big time!
Most of the fish we are catching are just shy of the limit with
a few right over for keeping for dinner and are great fighters 
on the ultra light tackle.

Low Country Fishing here in Hilton Head during the Fall is on my 

favorite times of the year for inshore fishing. You could live off of all 

the fish, shrimp, crabs and shellfish you would ever want!

Pictured top a Low Country slam of a day for sure.. redfish and trout

in the morning with clients and shrimp in the afternoon with my wife

and daughter. Finished a great day with a classic Low Country Boil!

What a surprise birthday fishing trip for 10 year old Jared Faulkner!

His mom and grandmother came along to watch him reel all the fish in.

Jared caught several nice trout, redfish and even a small flounder which is

a rare inshore grand slam here in the South! My favorite fish that he 

caught was a 27 inch redfish that I hooked up for him on the fly.

I took several photos of the school of fish before I made the cast

and once hooked up Jared had a epic 5 minute battle on the fly!

What a birthday fish to end the trip on!
