What a surprise birthday fishing trip for 10 year old Jared Faulkner!

His mom and grandmother came along to watch him reel all the fish in.

Jared caught several nice trout, redfish and even a small flounder which is

a rare inshore grand slam here in the South! My favorite fish that he 

caught was a 27 inch redfish that I hooked up for him on the fly.

I took several photos of the school of fish before I made the cast

and once hooked up Jared had a epic 5 minute battle on the fly!

What a birthday fish to end the trip on!

I love topwater fishing during this time of the year! If you

are looking for a trophy trout the top is the way to go for sure.

11/14 Pic Of The Day!

The fishing was absolutely OFF THE HOOK today and my
clients must have caught at least 50 fish or more! They were
catching perfect slot size redfish almost every cast for a hour 
strait! We only kept a few and released all the rest.

11/12 Pic's Of The Day!

One of the last really warm calm days it looks like for a while.
We had a great day for fishing and caught some nice trout on 
topwater plugs first thing in the morning and finished with this
big redfish. The boat pictured bottom right was high and dry.
I hope he got off the bar because the conditions are going to be
very cold and windy the next few days.

11/10-11/11 Pic's Of The Day!

11/11 Day 2 of some epic trout action. We didn't catch as many 
 as yesterday but todays fish were my biggest of the fall so far.
 The trout and red fishing should only continue to get better
and better as the water and air temps get colder.

11/10 One of my best TOP WATER sessions with clients today!

Lots of singles, several double headers and we even had a triple

header all on top plugs. We keep only what we needed and threw 

the rest back and finished up catching some nice redfish. Epic Trip!
