Awesome day from start to finish. One of the best sunrises of the year

for sure! Saw some tarpon early this morning just  didn't get the bite

but got plenty of sharks. The afternoon action was OFF THE HOOK

with lots of black tip and bonnet head sharks and  a nice redfish too!

The light tackle shark action has been OFF THE HOOK the

last few days and I saw some big tarpon today! It looks like they

 are moving in for sure and  I can't wait to put one in the air!

What a great day inshore catching some incredible redfish despite

the nasty 15-25 mph winds and rough conditions.  Pictured above 

The Martires have fished with me many times and were blown away

today by the raw power of these big stud redfish! 

The Potokas experienced the same action this afternoon with the

big redfish and pulled out one of the coolest and rarest catches of

the year with Doug Potoka pictured below who caught this huge

10 plus pound bluefish! What a OFF THE HOOK catch!
