Hilton Head Island Fishing With Off The Hook Fishing Charters
1/20-1/28  Pic's Of The Day

The winter fishing has been OFF THE HOOK the last few weeks here
in Hilton Head and the redfish have really been schooling in big numbers
on the flats at low tide and have made for some excellent sight fishing with
light tackle and fly gear.  The Sheepshead fishing inshore has also been
been very good and it looks like the month of February could be great too
so book a trip with me and let's go!

Above and below are some Off The Hook shots and catches from the  last
few trips out. This shot above was from the 29th a awesome trip with two
of my best buds who are also Captains as well. We found a new spot that we
have never fished before and tripled up on the fly at the same time. Unreal!!
It's been 3 years since we have fished together and probably will be another
3 before we get the chance to all fish together again.

Another epic winter day of weather here in Hilton Head and the fish were
playing tough to get at first but as the day heated up so did the fishing!
I have seen allot of redfish from all over the east coast but nothing
compares to the unreal tail colors of our South Carloina redfish!

What incredible January weather we are having and its got the redfish
up top sunning themselves and makes for great opportunities on the fly.
Pictured above one of my best friends Byron Sewell with a beauty to start
the day off. We ended up going offshore in search of bigger bull redfish
and really got into the black sea bass on light tackle. The gannet birds
were trying to eat the sea bass as we brought them up and I got some
incredible underwater shots! Check them out on  my Instagram!

First trip and fish of the year!
Despite the chilly rainy conditions we ended up having a great day and
the girls caught a few of there first redfish. The fishing for redfish and
sea trout should continue to be great for the rest of the winter as long
as the temperatures stay above freezing.
