What incredible January weather we are having and its got the redfish 
up top sunning themselves and makes for great opportunities on the fly.
Pictured above one of my best friends Byron Sewell with a beauty to start
the day off. We ended up going offshore in search of bigger bull redfish
and really got into the black sea bass on light tackle. The gannet birds 
were trying to eat the sea bass as we brought them up and I got some 
incredible underwater shots! Check them out on  my Instagram!

First trip and fish of the year! 
Despite the chilly rainy conditions we ended up having a great day and
the girls caught a few of there first redfish. The fishing for redfish and
 sea trout should continue to be great for the rest of the winter as long 
as the temperatures stay above freezing.

Turned out to be a beautiful last day of the year and we ended up 
catching a few nice redfish but they made us work for it for sure.
Now that the full moon is backing off the action should pick up.
