Had a excellent day today once again chasing some tailing redfish at

high tide this morning. The afternoon trip with The Thompson family

was Off The Hook and we crushed the monster spanish mackerel on

light spinning tackle. Looks like fish tacos for dinner!

It's Tailing Redfish Time!

The past two mornings have been excellent for some very nice 

redfish tailing up in the high tide flats. Unfurtunately my clients were

not able to sink a hook in one with the fly rod but I got some great

video and pic's of some nice tails!

8/16-8/18 Pic's Of The Day!

 Here are a few pics from the last few days of my clients with some

nice sharks and spanish mackerel. The tarpon have really moved 

in big numbers and I was surrounded by them on Friday morning

but the big black tip sharks 20-60 pounds were getting to our baits

before a tarpon had a chance. They were still a blast to catch!

Some excellent inshore fishing here in Hilton Head the last few days.

Pictured above and below are clients that have fished with me several 

times. It's always fun to change the routine up and fish for a different 

species or different way than the last years trip. It is also a great honor

The weather and wind conditions have ben excellent for sight fishing.

 OFF THE HOOK action the last two days on some huge jacks and 

some monster bonnet head sharks in the 3-4 ft range that gave my 

clients some awesome battles on the light spinning tackle. Fun!
