sharks were there and kept the rod double over for some serious family fun!

7/18/12 Pic Of The Day!

We had a great shot at a ultimate South Carolina Slam today for a

jack, tarpon and redfish. As you see pictured above the redfish were

not a problem at all. My clients did have a great opportunity at a big

school of jacks but they were just not hungry so we switched up to fish

for tarpon and we hooked a 100 plus pound fish that unfortunately

broke the line on some structure down deep. All in all it was a great 

day and was awesome just to have a shot at all three fish in one day!

Family Fun with The Prestons. This is the third summer in a row

I have fished with this family. Like I said in a earlier post this week

it is really cool to be part of a family tradition. We had a great day 

catching several different species of sharks and finished up with a 

hooking a bunch of ladyfish on light tackle which was a total blast.

Most of the ladyfish got OFF THE HOOK after they would jump way

up in the air! but we did get a few to the boat.

Epic Jack Day!

What a epic morning catching Not One, Not Two but Three Big Jack's

all in one trip! The Hollander family  fished last year as well had no

idea what they where getting hooked into when these monster jacks 

exploded on the  big popper we threw at them. Each fish took a good

20 minutes or more to land and were all released quickly unharmed.

What a trip!!

Sharks, Sharks, Sharks and Dolphins!

My clients on my morning and afternoon trips had a great time 

catching several species of sharks in the 2-4ft range.  Another great

high light of my trip today and almost every trip I take out is seeing

my good buddy Nick the Dolphin!

7/14-15 Pic's Of The Day!

Redfish and sharks has been the routine for the past few days and 

has been a blast for my clients on the light spinning tackle. I look 

forward to getting a little further offshore for spanish and kingfish 

soon. Pictured above is Jack Wootton who also fished with me last 

year with his Dad John.  I am honored to be a part of a family 

tradition and it is really cool to watch the kids grow up 

year after year and see their love for fishing!
