The ultimate inshore fishing boat is on it's way to Hilton Head Island!
I can't wait to get my hands on my brand new 2014 21ft. Egret Moccasin.
I will picking it up a few days from now from The Egret Factory in N.C.
and really look forward to fishing this boat for the years to come here in
Hilton Head and feel that this will be the perfect boat for all the types
fishing we have to offer here in the Low Country. The Moccasin will
be able to fish the flats, cross choppy sounds or even run offshore
when conditions allow. This boat is a major upgrade from my 2010
Egret 18'9" which was a incredible boat and in my opinion is one of
the best all around flats boats I have ever had. The great new features
of the 210 Moccasin is that I can customize the boat to what styles of fishing
and types of clients I have. For example during the hot summer months
their is a removable T-Top to provide shade and comfort for my clients
while bait fishing for cobia, tarpon, sharks etc..When fishing the flats for
redfish the boat can be polled and will draft the same as my previous
Egret flats boat in the 10-12inch range. One of the coolest upgrades
will be the Minn Kota iPilot that will allow me to cover allot of water
fast or hold me still in one spot with the built in GPS in the motor!
