We had some action packed trips today catching some big redfish

and all the sharks you wanted to reel in. Since the cobia fishing has

 been slow we have been putting most of our effort into looking for
the big bull redfish which are still running good near shore.

Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms out there! Today was a 
beautiful day to be on the water and I got to spend it with my
Mom. She ended up catching her first redfish and it was also 
her biggest fish ever. Below is nice redfish from Saturdays 
trip with Captain Cory behind the helm. His crew also caught
a bunch of different species of sharks ranging from 2-4ft long.

5-6-2016 First Cobia Of The Season!

Effective this May during the spawning season for cobia from
our sounds to 3 miles out cobia will be catch and release only.
This new law will help the numbers of cobia rebound in the years 
to come and will provide many more sight fishing opportunities
for my clients as well as for myself! After May 31st you the bag
limit will be 1 per person and no more than 3 per boat.

What a awesome day on the water! Had a great trip this morning

catching some big bull redfish and sharks with a super nice 

couple from PA. We also saw a bunch of big leather back turtles

which are the largest and oldest turtles in the world. Had the

afternoon off and went out to sight fish for cobia and got to

kick off the cobia season catching the first one on the fly. YEW!

Last few mornings have been great for some top water action
for redfish and the early bird sunrises have been a sight to see!

The water is warming up fast and some the cobia should be
 moving in our sounds in good numbers also any day now.
