10-7-2017 Fly Fishing Belize!

 Just returned from a fun trip down in Belize with some fellow
guides, clients and friends fishing for bonefish, tarpon and permit.
Unfortunately the weather was hit or miss with strong winds and
rain but we still had a great time and caught some nice fish. This
was my second stay in the last 2 years at El Pescador Lodge located

on San Pedro. I am putting together a OFF THE HOOK trip back
to El Pescador mid August-September of 2018 and would have
space for up to 9 anglers for 5 nights stay and 4 full days of flats
fishing for bonefish, tarpon, permit and several other species on

10-6-2017 Pic's Of The Day!

The BIG BULL RUN IS ON! Once again it's that time of the 

year where the bull redfish move inshore into our sounds to spawn

 
and should be running great for the entire month of October.
These big boys usually average 15-25lbs and can reach well over 

30lbs! Not only are the big bull reds running the speckled sea 

trout and inshore red fishing is Off The Hook as well. Come take

 

 advantage of this beautiful time of the year to fish and fish the world

class fishery we have here in Hilton Head.

9-29-2017 Pic's Of The Day!

Had some major action on the big jack crevalle today! 

We hooked eight fish and landed five which is by far my best day

of the year so far fishing for these big guys! Jim and I have fished

before for tarpon and redfish and today he got to check off a new 

species off of his bucket list. I am willing to bet Jim's bicep and

forearm will be sore for a few days after reeling in all of these studs!

 Nice to see a few schools of these big jacks are still around!
The water temps are still in the low 80's so we may have a good

chance of catching some more as we get into October. We will see 
what happens after the cold front that comes through this weekend.

9-24-2017 The Running Of The Bulls Is ON!

Now that Fall is here so are the big bull redfish ranging
15-35 pounds. For the next 6 weeks it will be primetime fishing
for these big boys in the sounds and around the sandbars that
surround Hilton Head Island. Book a trip and come catch
some of these big boys while the running of the bulls is on!
