Hilton Head Fishing with Off The Hook Fishing Charters
5/19-5/20/17 Pic's Of The Day!
Been some great topwater plug action the last few mornings for
trout and redfish which is one of my favorite ways to fish for them.
Unfortunately it looks like some weather is on the way along with
some big full moon spring tides which will for sure flood the flats for
tailing redfish and hopefully push some more cobia in our sounds.

Some great fishing this week for redfish, sharks and a few cobia.
Lots of baitfish has been moving into our sounds and off of our
beaches and will soon be followed by larger game species like tarpon,
jack crevalle and larger sharks. The inshore fishing for redfish, trout
and cobia will continue to be great for the rest of the month of May
but we look forward to the larger species that are on there way!

Some OFF THE HOOK catches from the last few days out.
Sight fishing cobia with light tackle spin and fly gear. Several
species of sharks ranging from 2-4ft and some super nice size
spanish mackerel to bring home for the skillet!

Been some serious light tackle fun the last few days for redfish,
trout, cobia, sharks and a few others. Even though we can't keep
cobia this year our clients are still having a blast sight fishing for
them up on the surface with light spinning and fly gear!

The fishing was RED HOT today from start finish. Started at the
crack of dawn with a epic top water trout bite, then some sharks
and some big redfish in the creeks and a few off of the beach!

The afternoon the wind laid out and the river turned to glass which
made for one of the best sight fishing days of cobia we have had in years!
Captain Byron's crew pick off a few on spin tackle with his clients and I stuck
4 on the fly and had at least 6 more shots at other fish cruising happy
on the surface. I recorded all of the hook ups and cast to make for a
epic video to put together but returned to the dock only to find out my
GoPro camera fell off of my boat on the way back to the dock. I
was totally bummed I lost my camera but know there will be several
more epic days like this in the coming weeks as the fish keep coming in!
