Had a great trip this morning with some repeat clients catching
some big over the slot redfish on the flats at low tide. The water

has been nice and clear and the fish are really starting to school

up on the flats making for some epic winter sight fishing!

Epic day offshore catching a bunch of big bull reds on the fly!
The ocean was as pretty as it gets and the fish were chewing bigtime!
It was nice to put down the spinning gear & have some fun on the fly 
with one of my good friends.

The bite was a little slower today than my last few trips 
out probably due to the water temp dropping a good 10 degrees. 
These guys still did great today catching a few quality redfish 
and some nice black drum. It sure was nice to get back on the 
water after a freezing cold weekend being stuck inside and the
weather the rest of the week looks epic!

What a OFF THE HOOK first trip of 2017 today catching a
bunch of redfish, black drum, trout, and to top it off bow fishing
for sheepshead! Can't say I have had a client step onboard

my boat with his bow and arrows...but now I can! Steve and

his family visting from Michigan had the perfect tide today

for fishing and hunting along the docks here in Hilton Head.

This was the first time for me to witness someone in person
bow fishing and it was really cool and I want to try it one day!
Hands down this was as pretty and great of a day you could

ever ask for in the winter. I think the fish knew the cold is on

its way in for the next few days and that's what had them so

hungry today.
