Hilton Head Island Fishing With Off The Hook Fishing Charters
4/13-4/14 Pic's Of The Day!
I had a few days off so I went fishing anyway! Pictured above
one of my favorite things to do in the spring is look for cobia on
perfect slick calm days like this. No luck this time but it won't be
long and there will be cobia everywhere in our sounds any day!
Pictured above when the weather is really bad I have a few great
ponds that I like to fish for big redfish that run 10-20lbs. Got a
few nice ones on the fly this morning.

The sharks are moving in and that is a great sign for things to
come for the spring and summer. The water temps are on the
rise for sure and the cobia should be here any day now! This
shark pictured above is a my first bonnet head shark and they
are one of my favorite sharks to taget on light tackle.

It's Tailing Redfish Time! Today the conditions were absolutely
perfect for seeing redfish tailing on the high tide flats with their
head down and tails up above the water feeding on small crabs.
It's a awesome sight to see for sure and my client Daren Becker
who has fished with me a number of times caught the first tailer
of the year and what a super nice redfish to catch on the fly!
What a awesome tail shot below!!

The fish of the day for sure a true Saturday Slob!
Pictured above Terry Turley caught some of his first redfish ever on
this mornings trip and this one above was a 30 inch 10 plus pounder!
The afternoon action was a mix bag of fish and Bob Carlson and his
son caught redfish, black drum, sharks, whiting,  and pinfish on the
ultra light tackle.  Fun in the sun for sure!

Red Sky In The Morning Sailors Warning
What a beautiful sunrise to start the day with picture perfect conditions.
The morning was a bit slow but as the weather changed for the worse
the fishing for redfish in the afternoon turned out to be great!
Afternoon action with The Lavin family who have fished with me several
times and they always seem to have great luck even in the worse conditions.
Looks like it is going to be a lay day tomorrow with lots of rain and wind.
Super Stoked ! First Redfish !
