Just one inch could make a big difference....With the numbers of recreational fisherman and guides growing here in the Low County year after year I can’t stress how important it is to conserve this great fishery for redfish and practice catch and release. I’m not saying don’t keep fish or that I won’t keep fish for my clients when they are paying top dollar but I do encourage everyone to please let every 22 inch redfish that’s just one inch from being FREE to go and know it will only help our red fishery grow. Please note our SC state law for redfish allows each angler to keep only two fish per day and a max limit of 6 per boat per day with a slot limit 15-23 inches for redfish.
