4-22-2019 The Cobia Run Is Starting Up!

It’s that time of the year again big female cobia like this one pictured will be coming inshore into our sounds to spawn for future generations here in our low country waters. I and my captains @offthehookfishingcharters will be doing our best to handle these larger fish (females) with care after landing and can’t stress how important it is to keep them in the water and release them unharmed so we can help rebuild our inshore fishery for these fish. For those of you that don’t know already it is unlawful to take and possess cobia in the Southern Cobia Management Zone (here in Hilton Head, Beaufort & Port Royal inshore waters) from May first to May thirty-first.
