2/24-3/4 Flats Fishing Honduras!

I just got back from a a nice little getaway with my family to a very remote Island in 

Honduras called Guanaja.As most fishing trips go you never know what to expect.

Unfortunately the wind blew really hard and the fish played hard to get but at least

I got a few little bonefish and had a few shots at a big permit. All in all it was a fun

trip and a very beautiful place to experience.

2/22/12 Pic Of The Day!

Pictured above my client Karl Badgley with his first redfish. We worked a big school of fish 

the entire trip and tried fly fishing and artifical lures and the fish were just not interested.

We switched to bait and that did the trick and caught some really nice fish!

Well at least it has warmed up out there on the water a little bit from the past

few days. Once again the fish made us work hard on each trip to catch a few

but the fish we caught were really nice ones!

had to be some of the worst windy, freezing cold conditions to fish. We had to cut the 

trip short because our hands and body were numb!  At least we got one though!

2/16/12 Pic Of The Day!

We saw hundreds of redfish this morning with my clients but the fish were very spooky

and we had to work hard to catch a few. The dolphins were really putting the pressure on 

the fish and that can play a major role on the fish biting or not. Pictured above is one of

two little redfish I caught on the fly in pond just playing around. A nice 5 spotter!
