5/25-5/30  Pic's Of The Day!
The last few days my clients have had some excellent light tackle action on sharks, redfish and cobia.
The water is warming up fast and the kingfish, spanish and tarpon should be showing up any day.
Pictured above are some great shots of my clients  from the past few days.

This morning was an action packed father/son trip catching some nice redfish and bunch of huge bonnethead
sharks all on light spinning gear. I don't think we had more than 5 minutes of rest before another fish was on!

5/25/11 One Of Those Days!!
This was one of those days I have been waiting on for several reasons!!
1st I had an opening in my schedule on a perfect day to go after a cobia with my new fly rod and reel.
2nd, It just worked out that one of my best friends Trent Malprus was also free to go as well and join me.
3rd the fact that we caught 3 cobia and saw 5 in just 2 hours all on the fly turned out to be a great day!

We gave the redfishing a try this morning with some return clients of mine. Pictured above
Steven Pulliam with a nice redfish caught first thing in the morning. We missed several other
redfish and decided to finish the trip and try for cobia. We didn't get one but we caught a
bunch of 3 foot sharks that keep us busy until the very end.

Epic Glassy Conditions Finally!! Today was one of those days that comes only a few times during the
cobia run and my clients and I took full advantage of the perfect conditions and went 3 for 5 on cobia
sight fishing to them with a light spinning rod. Unfurtunatly we lost what would have been my biggest
cobia of the year that I am estimating to be close to 60 pounds! In a way I am glad the big girl got away
because I am sure she was full of roe as she was on her way into the river to drop those eggs. In the
last few minutes we caught a perfect keeper fish around 20 pounds so it ended up being a great trip!
