Happy Cinco de Mayo! Had a great trip this afternoon catching a bunch of bluefish on light tackle with
Mary and Ted Belt. We finished up the day with Ted catching this nice cobia on one of the small bluefish
he had caught earlier in the trip. Looks like it's going to be FISH TACO night! YUM!

The wind has been very gusty the past few days making the fishing a little more challenging to go
out and target cobia so I have been back on the redfish routine and getting a few nice fish per trip.
We also have been catching lots of sharks up to 4ft. that are a blast to catch on light tackle spinning gear.

Bonnet Head Blast! My clients Dan and Greg in from Ohio had never caught a shark before and today
we had a crush on some big bonnet head sharks on the flats while fishing for redfish. These two pictured
were to big females well above average size and took a good 10 minutes to crank in on light spinning gear!

Birthday Fishing Trip! Pictured top right Birthday Boy Jon Townsend and his cousin Koins with two of the
biggest reds of the afternoon. We caught several others and a good number of reef and bonnet head sharks
as well. I heard of a few cobia caught by several other captains and look forward to next weeks trips!

Sometimes when the weather is at it's worst the fishing is at its best!
The wind was blowing really hard again this morning out of the South 20-30 mph with higher gust!
The Wiseman family visiting from Ohio ended up having a great 3 hour trip catching some beautiful
redfish on light tackle spinning gear. Not a bad way to spend a stormy rainy day!

WEW! it was what we call blowing stink out there today. The winds were whipping out of the
South 20-30 mph and it made the fishing pretty tuff but we still manage to catch a few nice fish.
Pictured above Drew and Pete with two really nice golden colored reds. We also caught a few
bonnet head sharks as well. On my afternoon trip with the Reed family they stayed busy catching
several species of sharks like reef, bonnet, and even a bull shark and were all around 3ft long.
