Family Fun! This afternoon my clients had some unreal action catching a bunch

of big reds from 25 inches all the way to 30 inches. We left the fish biting and

finished up catching some nice little speckled trout on jigs. What a great trip!

In The Record Books!

Pictured above: Capt. Brian Vaughn of Hilton Head Island, SC owner and operator of

Off The Hook Charters. Vaughn landed a Word Record Tripletail July 9th that weighed in at 

16 lbs.13 oz. and topped the old IGFA record of 16 pounds, 6 ounces that was caught in 

Costa Rica over 15 years ago by Jim Gray. The record was pending just until last week and 

was approved after IGFA tested the 20lb. tippet material used to catch the fish.

Not a bad way to start the day!

I was on the way to pick up some clients for a charter and had a few minutes to spare and 

couldn't resist the urge to walk-the-dog along a few grass points and coves and hooked up 

on my second cast of the day!Like a said not a bad way to start  the day!
