11/8 Fun Fishing!

Today was a fun fishing day with my good friend John Jamison (featured). 

We were fishing a spot that he brought me to almost exactly a year ago in November 

and I had an incredible day on the fly! The fish John catches in the video was his first cast 

and what a nice fish to start with! We went on taking turns using spin and fly and caught at

 least 3 fish each in just over an hours time. Nothing beats sight fishing to redfish when the 

water is clear. I love this time of the year! Check out the video from a year ago at the same

11/7 Pic Of The Day!

Tarpon in November? Yep! Things have slowed down with business the past week for everyone 

on the Island. It's that time of the year but it's nice to get a break and fish for fun with family 

and friends and go look for some new spots to fish. I ran a few trips this week and my clients

caught good numbers of the smaller slot size redfish, trout and flounder. The pic above is from

this morning of nice little pond tarpon that hit a jig on the 2nd cast! Fun!

11/4 Pic Of The Day!

Pictured above left is me down in Puerto Rico enjoying a few days off. I went to

PR to watch a The Rip Curl Pro Search surfing event which featured the world's 

best men and woman surfers and will run until Nov. 10th. 

Yesterday I got back to work on the water in search of some fish with my client 

Des Moore and his wife Marsha and we got into a bunch of redfish, black drum 

and on the very last cast of the day Des caught this nice sized trout.

10/25 Pic's Of The Day!

Had to post this pic of this beautiful tail. The past two days have been excellent for jig fishing for 

trout and reds with my clients. The trout we caught yesterday morning were some of my biggest of the 

fall so far and were in the 2 pound range. The redfish have been perfect cookie cutter size 15"-18"

 perfect eating size. It's nice not having to deal with the bait and go strictly with artificial baits.

 I love this time of the year!

10/23 Pic's Of The Day!

A perfect morning for tailing redfish. Here is great shot of my client David Whnja with his first redfish 

on the fly!

The afternoon trip we went out for the big boys with Michael houlihan and his son and friend.
They fished with me a few days before and had a great trip with the big bulls. Well as you can
see we found the fish again and managed to catch 5 in about 30 minutes before it got a little 
to windy and rough so we finished up inshore getting on the smaller reds.
