7/11-7/14 Pic's Of The Day!
The last few days have been steady on the action for a several species.
The big jack crevalle have been crusing around in the sounds and are great
targets on spinning and fly gear. My clients have also been catching some nice
tailing redfish on the flats at high tide. There has also been plenty of shark action
on nice black tip and bonnet head sharks in the 2-4 fooot range. 
The catch of the week so far is the last photo of a rare bull redfish close to 30 pounds!

7/10 World Record Tripletail!



What a incredible day! 
On the way back in from fishing a few miles off of Hilton Head I spotted this huge tripletail swimming 
underneath a dead horse shoe crab and pulled out my fly rod that was rigged with 20 pound class 
tippet and casted a red & white lefty's deceiver to what I knew could possibly be a world record fish. 
The fish took the fly and the fight was on for a awesome 10 minute battle! After netting the fish it 
weighed in right at 17 pounds which beat the current world record by 6 ounces that was caught in 
1995 in Costa Rica. One of my greatest catches of all time!

7/10 Jack Attack!



Check out this video of a school of monster 20-30 pound jacks in a feeding frenzy! 
This was one of those rare days being in the right place at the right time! 
My clients and I came across this giant school and were able to catch two big fish 
one on a fly rod and one on light spinning gear. Not a bad way to start off the trip!

The fishing has been great all of last week. We just had a front come through
with NE winds that cooled things down a bit which is a nice surprise for July. 
These are just a few pic's from the past few days of my clients with some nice
catches of redfish, sharks and a monster jack crevalle.
