A picture perfect day today up in the flats. The water is finally starting to clear up
after all the wind we had last week and makes for some good sight fishing for redfish.

Great fishing all day from start to finish! It was perfect day, light winds and blue skys.
All the fish we caught were big redfish and most were over sized fish we had to let go.

This mornings trip was cold and windy but I had some troopers from Canada
and they braved the conditions and we caught a few nice fish. The afternoon
trip was RED HOT with The England's who fished with me yesterday as well.

Great day of fishing! Pictured above Lou Gauci with his first redfish on the fly!
It was a perfect morning with light winds and clear water and Lou and I saw tons of fish
basking in the sun and made for easy targets with the fly and light spinning gear. Pictured
below the England's had a stellar afternoon as well with the redfish and a few trout.

Turned out to be a beautiful day out there and my clients caught some nice redfish
and a few trout on live bait and jigs. The wind finally let up a little bit so hopefully
the water will clean up the next few days and help with the sight fishing for redfish.

Pulled off the South Carolina Inshore Slam on my trips today!
It's that time of the year when you cast a jig or fish a live bait you have a good
chance of catching a trout, redfish or the rare flounder. I knew I had a chance to pull
off the slam when my client Lou Gauci pictured above reeled in this nice flounder to
start off the day. The trout and redfish action really picked up in the afternoon and
my clients wore the fish out on the ultra light spinning gear. Fun!

10/31 Pic Of The Day!
Happy Halloween! I had to let some of my clients Off The Hook the last few days
with the strong winds mixed with 8ft + tides make for some tuff fishing. It was nice
to relax a little this weekend and get some things done. Speaking of getting things
done check out my wifes latest paintings that she finished today.

10/28 Pic Of The Day!
The last of the Tailing Redfish? Maybe so...I hope not. My client Ken Shew had a
beautiful morning to sight fish for redfish in the flats and we saw our share of tails
but they were the wrong kind of tails. The majority of the fish we saw were 3-7lb
sheepshead and only a few reds were mixed in. Ken got his first redfish on on the
fly and had lots of shots to sheepshead but they are one of the hardest fish to hook
especially on a fly rod. The bluefish action the past few days has been Off The Hook
so we finished up catching a bunch of little snapper blues. Great Day!

10/26-27 Pic's Of The Day!
Ultra Light Spinning Rod Action! My clients must have caught close to 100
bluefish the past 2 mornings on my ultra light spinning rods casting spoons.
Gary and Haskell said they hadn't caught fish like this since they were kids!
We also caught some nice redfish and trout on the light tackle as well. FUN!!

Another great fishing day! My clients caught some nice redfish as you see pictured.
There were also some speckled trout, bluefish and a few sharks mixed in as well.
I love this time of the year when you can break out the ultra light tackle and catch
nice fish on artificial baits and lures. It should only continue to get better out there!

19th Annual Dotty Dunbar Tournament
My Wife and I fished The 19th Annual Dotty Dunbar Tournament today and
won 4 out of 6 places! We took 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the trout category and 3rd
place in the redfish category. We had a incredible day out there! The Dotty
tournament is only for female anglers and my wife is one heck of a angler!

Turned out to be a great day out there with The Walkerly Family. We left the dock in the
pouring down rain but it stopped right when we started fishing. With in a few minutes
we hooked up to these 3 redfish all at once! What a great way to start the day!

Running Of The Bulls!
What a great trip this morning with some return clients who had know idea what
they were in for!. We were fishing for less than 10 minutes and hooked 3 big bulls
pictured top left and then caught a single and two back to back doubleheaders and
finished with one more to give us a total of 9 stud reds this morning. Went back to
the same spot this afternoon and no fish were to be found but thats fishing.

Honeymoon Redfishing!
What a trip this morning!! with The Johnson's just married and here to spend there
honeymoon on Hilton Head Island. The Newlyweds had nonstop action the entire trip
and caught a total of 17 big bull redfish! We had 3 on at a time and several double
headers! The Johnson's will have one heck of fishing memory after this trip for sure!

It felt good to get back on the water after all the bad weather we had the past 3 days.
The seas were calm enough for me to make back out a few miles off the beach to fish
for the big bull reds and my clients caught 4 really nice ones and a few sharks. The
action wasn't quite as good as it was 2 weeks ago for the big red but I expect it to get
better now that the weather has past and things are settling down out there.

10/8 Pic Of The Day!
Another fun family trip today with the Kennedy's who were troopers to brave the nasty
25-30 mph winds that were whipping around out there. We started with some fun shark
action and finished up catching some big over the slot size redfish and couple perfect
keepers for them to take home. Great trip!
