3/10/11 Will The Wind Ever Stop!
It has been one windy week so far and has made for some tough fishing conditions but we still managed to
catch some nice fish today. Pictures top left my clients were in HH for a business meeting and they took care
of business this morning catching some nice redfish! Pictured top right a pic from my afternoon trip with
Johhny Duggins with a little puppy  red.

3/8/11 Blowing Stink!
We call 20-25 mph winds "Blowing Stink" and that is exactly what it was doing today!
The McVeigh family were troopers and braved the wind and cool air and caught a few nice fish.

3/7/11 Great Trip!
So much for the warm temps like we had last week. Today was pretty cold out there but the fishing was Hot!
Pictured above left 12 year old Connor Laidlaw and his Mother Judy with one monster redfish to start of the trip!
We stayed busy catching a bunch of big over the slot size fish and finished off with this one pictured top right.

3/5/11 Another Windy Day!
The past few days have been super windy out there with wind gust close to 30 mph. These are
the kind of days that test your skills as a fishing guide. Pictured above my client Bob Smickley
with a nice inshore creek redfish caught on light spinning gear.

3/3/11 Not Bad For 30 mph Winds!
My clients Bob and JD owners of an Outriggers Sport Fishing Gear braved the 30 mph NE winds today
we had to work hard to find some fish but we ended up doing pretty well catching some nice reds.

2/26/11  Epic Red-Fish Day!
What a unreal trip my clients had this morning catching 47 redfish ranging from 2 pounds all the way
to 12 pounds. We sat and caught fish for 3 hours and left the fish biting. Fred and Tom were doubled
up fighting fish numerous times and we even had a few triple hook ups when I hooked a few on the
fly and also on a topwater plug. It was one of my best trips in quite some time! Until tomorrow!

2/25/11  What A Day!
We were the only boat out there this morning wind was blowing 20-25 mph and it was pretty chopped up.
I love a good challenge and so do my clients and it paid off big time! Larry Dickerson and Son Jake who have
fished with me a few times before reeled in at least 20-25 redfish like these pictured above! Some times the
worst weather days end up being the best fishing days!

The morning action was great on the lowtide and the fish were in a nice tight schools and made for
easy targets for my client Ken Sullins pictured to the left holding a fish that he caught on his 2nd cast.
The afternoon was a little more challenging but we still managed to catch some really nice fish.

2/20/11  Lady Luck Today!
Despite the windy conditions we had this afternoon it turned out to be one of my better
trips of year and one of my best Mother and Daughter trips of all time! We stayed busy for 2
hours strait on a 3 hour trip catching nice reds like this one Lauren Harrity is holding.

What a great father son trip today with Donen and Myles from Columbia, SC . The conditions were
perfect again today for sight casting and we put the ultra light spinning rods to the test on at least a
dozen nice redfish like these pictured. Take advantage of the RED HOT RED FISHING and book a trip!

The fishing just seems to be getting better and better each and every trip out there! Pictured
above my clients John and Carlos holding a pair of nice redfish that we caught early in the trip.
We stayed on the school of fish the entire morning and caught well over a dozen fish sight casting.
The numbers and size of the redfish on the flats this Winter have just been incredible!

2/9/11 Double Trouble!
Day # 2 with Ron and Johnny turned out to be better day than yesterday!  We got on some
new schools of fish today and they were a blast to catch on my brand new ultra light set ups!
There is nothing like catching big fish like these above on a light tackle!

2/8/11 Pic's Of The Day!
Turned out to be a great day out on the water and my clients Johnny and Ron caught some really
nice redfish on jigs. We were on a school of hundreds of fish and I called a good buddy who was
fishing as well to come over and work the same school of fish with us. We ended up playing a game
of "redfish ping-pong" were we bounced the school from boat to boat. It can be very effective as you
see with the size of these stud redfish pictured above!

2/6/11  What A School Of Redfish!
Not bad way to spend a Superbowl Sunday out on the water when you're catching some nice redfish
like these pictured above. My clients (right to left) Kirk, George, Richard and Jim are locals of Hilton
Head Island and they had a great day out on the water. The fishing was a little slow in the first half
but we made a excellent  comeback in the second half especially in the 4th quarter when the schools of
redfish really started to show at lowtide.

2/2/11  Pic Of The Day!
The warmest day of the year so far it must have hit the lower 70's! My clients Matt and Michelle Ward
had a great day catching some over the slot redfish. When they are to big to keep it's not a bad thing it's
good thing! Those fish will be here for years to come and are the breeding stock size fish to make more!

1/29 Epic Redfish Day!
Today was one of those epic fishing days were everything was as good as it get's! (featured) My client
Dr. Bill Miller local of Bluffton, SC is a regular customer of mine who has fished with me 15 times
and today may have been one of our best redfish trips flyfishing! What a winter treat, the weather was
perfect...zero wind, crystal clear water and hundreds of fish as you can see in the video. The amount of
redfish I have seen this winter has surpassed any of the other years I can think of in the past 10 years!
Hilton Head has a very unique winter fishery  and it looks like it will be excellent year for the redfish!

1/27/10 Pic's Of The Day!
My clients and I left the dock this morning the air temp was 40 degrees and the water temp was 49 degrees.
It was chilly morning and the fish were not very active but once the sun rose a little higher in the sky the action
picked up and we got on some nice really nice fish like these pictured and it turned out to be a great day!

1/22/11 Fish Of The Day!
I fished 14  year old Austin Bamberg again today and the weather was much colder
and very windy which made for some tough conditions but he still managed to catch
some nice reds despite the conditions. The fish he caught today were much larger
than the day before. Today was a quality day not a quantity day  like the day before!
1/21/11 Another Great Day!
Another day of perfection!  Schools of redfish everywhere and
14 year old Austin Bamberg got to catch his first reds of his life today
and what a day it was. We pitched jigs and spoons and caught a good
number of reds in the 3-5 pound range.

1/20/10 What a great day!
My client Jon Sten had an excellent day of fly fishing and catching over a dozen
nice reds like these pictured. The fish were in enormous schools and the water
clarity was gin clear. If you are reading this you should consider booking a
trip with me or getting out there on your own because this is a great time
of the year to fish!

1/18/11 Wintertime Tailing Redfish!
This is not one of those sights you come across very often in the wintertime especially when
the water temp is 48 degrees! A school of tailing redfish! My client Herb wood (featured) and I
witnessed this beautiful sight for several minutes and I got a few seconds on video before I
moved Herb into casting rang to catch a few of these nice wintertime tailers!

1/1/11 Happy New Year!
