We had epic conditions this morning for sight fishing for cobia. This is the first fish of the day 
caught by Matt Webster along with his father Bink. We saw several more but ended up with 
this nice little fish pictured above.
This is a great pic with clients Larry Hill and Son Chris who caught a really nice cobia 
this afternoon right at 36 pounds!

Morning trip: My clients had a great trip this morning catching some nice reds out of the marsh
grass flats. These a re 3 nice fish pictured above that we had on at the same time!
My afternoon trip was excellent as well catching a bunch of redfish at low tide. My client
Mike Pulliam put his own little bass rod to the test catching some stud redfish like this one above!

This afternoon my clients Jerry and Debra Hale had a great trip. Jerry caught my first
trippletail of the year to start off the day and we finished catching a bunch of big redfish!

Happy Mothers Day Cobia on the fly!  The cobia are really starting to run! I took my wife and 
three year old daughter and we had a great Mothers Day out on the water!

We then tried for Cobia in the Broad River with a bunch of other boats and the results for 
everyone seemed to be the same....not much going on today.

4/30/10 First Cobia Of The Year!
Bob Lizotte caught the first Cobia, A.K.A. "Brownie" of the season on my boat with me this 
morning in the Broad River.There have been a few caught the past few days. 
The mother load of cobia should be showing up any day now!

My afternoon trip started off with a Tripple Header on redfish like these two pictured above 
with Mike Novy and his father Steve. The fish were stacked up in a little creek mouth and we caught
some nice ones before the tide got to low.
After fishing for redfish we tried for cobia and the sharks kept us busy. This was the
first blacktip shark of the year for me on my boat. Catching the blacktip let's me know the
fishing is really getting ready to bust loose!

4/28 The wind finally let up today and we saw tons of fish! Here is a nice pair of chunky reds my clients 
caught at a brand new spot yesterday afternoon!

Pictured above is my afternoon trip with Trent Voelkl and his 2 sons who  caught a couple of nice reds
the first half of the trip. We tried for Cobia the second half of the trip and had no luck but did catch 
the first couple of SHARKS of the year. 2 Bonnet Head Sharks and one big 40 pound Dusky Shark! 
Morning Trip: Pictured above is Mike Magneson holding out the one and only fish we could fool on the fly.
We were in fish all morning and tried all kinds of different flies but the fish just didn't want to eat.

My clients William and Ray caught some nice reds this morning on the low tide and we finished up 
trying to catch a cobia but had know luck. It should be any day now that big push of cobia move in.

My client Chris Laurenzo caught some nice reds this morning and a couple of little flounder 
before the wind really picked up out of the NE at 15-25 MPH. It was nice to see that the flounder
are moving into the creeks.

What a great morning with Jackson, John and father Jack. These guys crushed the little snapper
blues on light spinning tackle. The boys most have caught 20 fish each!!

Finally I broke my longest streak ever for catching redfish and caught a bunch of snapper blues on my 
morning trip. The fish and birds were were in frenzy at one of the sandbars on South end of Hilton Head
and made for some great light tackle action casting spoons to the little bluefish. The afternoon trip went 
really well with The Russel family pictured above with a stud redfish. They caught several nice reds
this size and bunch of small skates. The water temps are on the rise and new species are finally starting 
to show up!

What a great pic this morning with Brian Francis and his Daughter Kelsie who caught this monster
redfish on the first cast of morning and it turned out to be one of  the biggest fish of the day! 
The afternoon trip was very good as well with The Clear Family who caught several nice

Happy Good Friday! What a good Friday it was. Another perfect day cathing a bunch of nice redfish.

best in the grass trips of the year. My client Bryan Goll had a stellar day sight casting and

4/1/10 April Fools Day! Morning & Afternoon Trip Pic's
It just doesn't get any nicer out there on the with clear blue skys and slick calm water.
This pic above is of a stud redfish caught by Ben Olson with his Brothers and Father while 
we were fishing the marsh flats at high tide. Nice Fish!
My afternoon trip had unreal conditions as well and we fished a lower tide and caught 
some nice fish for dinner and caught a couple of big boys like this one  that Miller Tucker
caught with his Dad. Great Shot!

Another super high tide this morning had all the marsh flats flooded to the max! 
This is a great pic of Jake Laubach who pulled this beautiful redfish out of the grass my morning trip.
I can't wait for that marsh grass in the background to turn bright green!
