Pretty day for some fun on the flats sight fishing for redfish.

These guys were great to fish with and they got to catch some

nice redfish on the light spinning gear. All of the redfish were

over the slot and were released to fight again. In the last minute 
of the trip we finished with perfect 24inch black drum to keep
for dinner. Nice to see some warmer temps today after all the cold!

First somewhat warmer day with decent winds to scout some

spots with the fly rod. The fish were stacked up and chewing

up the fly big time. Also came across bunch of feeding white

pelicans that are residing here for the winter months.

The bite was RED HOT for some black drum and redfish for 
Captain Ben and his crew this morning. Turned out to be a nice

 warm day and a great first trip of the year with a awesome family
visiting Hilton head for a few days. Stoked for these guys!

Hope you all had a great Christmas! The last few days have been
brutal with the cold temps and windy conditions but we are still

catching some nice trout, redfish, and black drum inshore in the 
creeks. Even though it's been cold out the fishing has been hot!
