10/22/09 Oregon Rainbows

10/19/09 Big Bull Reds

Despite the big tides and cold and windy conditions we caught a couple nice fish today. Here is a great shot of my client Jackson Roper with a nice redfish.

Just Married! Megan and Joe Colley were true troopers today and caught some big bull reds despite the bad weather.

10/13/09 Sunset Jack ! (Watch The Video)

The big jacks are still out there! After having a great afternoon catching a few nice tailing redfish we came across a huge school of jacks and I managed to land one on my new Sage 8wt. Xi3 fly rod. What great way to finish the day with my family and friend catching a big sunset jack!

10/11/09 Big Jack On The Fly!

The big jacks are still schooling in good numbers with the above normal water temps. This is the latest in the year I have ever caught a big jack like this one. The fish put up a great fight on my new 10wt. TCX Sage!

10/10/09 Great Morning Trip!




Matt and his Father Charlie Wallace had a unreal morning catching at least 35-40 nice redfish. They also pulled in a few nice sharks as well.






The inshore creek fishing has been great the past few weeks and should only get better!

10/6/09 Great Family Trip Catching Big Bull Reds!


We had awesome family tournament with the Walshauser 's. I fished with Grand Parents and Capt. Byron had Mom & Dad on his boat. The big bull reds where biting great this morning! The Walshauser 's caught at least a dozen big reds 20lbs or bigger! I even got one on the fly. What a day!

10/2/09 Afternoon Redfish Action

Great afternoon trip with the Jones's. They caught at least 20 reds most were small but we did catch a few big ones like this beauty pictured.

9/30/09 Big Bull Reds

I finally had a day free to take my wife out and we caught some big bull reds in the 20-30lb. range! The next few weeks are the peak time to catch big reds like this one pictured.

9/29/09 Lots Of Reds & Trout!

What a great morning the Barkleys had.. they caught at least 20 reds and finished off catching 10 nice trout!
